If you're experiencing display issues with Final Draft on a dual-monitor setup, particularly when using a vertical monitor, this guide will help you resolve the problem. Follow these steps to ensure Final Draft displays correctly on your secondary monitor:
Step 1: Access Display Settings
Click on the "Start" menu and select "Settings" to open the Windows Settings menu.
In the Settings menu, click on "System" to access system-related settings.
Step 2: Adjust Display Settings
Within the System settings, click on "Display" from the left-hand menu to view your display configuration.
You will see a visual representation of your connected monitors. Identify which monitor is your secondary monitor (it will say any number but 1, which is your primary)
Step 3: Set Vertical Monitor as Main Display
Click on the monitor that represents your current secondary monitor.
Scroll down to find the option "Make this my main display" and check the box. This will set your selected monitor as the primary display.
Step 4: Confirm Changes
Click "Apply" to save your changes. Your chosen monitor is now set as the main display, and Final Draft should display correctly.
If you continue to experience issues, consider checking for any additional display settings or updates that may affect your configuration.
