One possible scenario is that you have a newer and an older version of Final Draft installed and the other version is open. Only one version of Final Draft can be open at one time, so check to see if another version is running. If there is, close it and you should then be able to open the version you want.
If that doesn't work, try to reboot your computer and attempt to launch the program again.
You can also run the application as an administrator (for Windows users) by right-clicking the Final Draft icon and select 'Run as Administrator'.
If none of the above works:
Setting a new Default Printer should fix the issue. To do so:
- Restart the computer;
- Go to the Search Bar at the bottom of your screen in the taskbar.
- Type "Control Panel" (without quotes) and open that window;
- Choose View Devices and Printers;
- Right-click any printer and left-click Set as Default Printer (If a default printer is already set, choose a different one);
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Launch Final Draft.
