My character (or cast) report lists certain characters as non-speaking in scenes but the characters are not actually in those scenes in the script. How can I fix this?

To remove a non-speaking character entirely from a script, go to Tools Character Navigator to display that panel.

Right-click (or Control + click, Mac only) on the character you want to delete. If this character has no lines anywhere in the script, this command will be enabled (black text). If the character still has lines in a scene, this command will be disabled (grey text).
