There are several different ways you can change the look of the text in your Final Draft Cloud document. These can be accomplished with a mix of your Format menu and Floating Toolbar.
If you are looking to change the Font, highlight the text you are looking to alter. Then, click the menu button (the Final Draft logo) in the upper lefthand corner of your screen. That will open your menu:
Select “Format” then “Font.” You can then choose your chosen font from the list. Once you click the font you want, your highlighted text will change to that font.
To change the alignment, place your cursor on the section of text you’re looking to change. Then, open the same menu. Choose “Format” and “Alignment.” You can then choose how you’d like that block of text to be justified:
To adjust the color of your text, highlight the text you wish to change. You can then either go to the same menu and choose “Format” then “Color” and select the color you’d like.
Or, you can use the Floating Toolbar. Once you’ve highlighted the text, your toolbar will appear next to that text. Choose the “T” from the toolbar and choose the color you would like:
Finally, if you wish to highlight your text in a specific color, select the text you are trying to change. Then, click the menu in the upper lefthand corner. Go to “Format” and then “Highlight.” Select your color and return to the script.
Or, once you’ve selected the text, choose the highlight icon from your floating toolbar. Then select your color. The highlight will appear on your selected text:
