While you can import most file types into Final Draft Vault, Final Draft Writer requires your documents to be in .FDX format to open and edit them.
Final Draft Cloud cannot currently convert non-.FDX files to .FDX format. To convert a file from RTF, TXT, DOCX, PDF, etc to .FDX, please use the Final Draft 13 desktop application included in your subscription. Here is how to do so in Final Draft 13:
Importing a script from another program such as Word
Once your script is imported in Final Draft 13, you can then save it to your Final Draft folder in Documents. Once the file is saved, you can have our LocalSync utility automatically sync it to your Vault, or manually import it to your Vault.
