The Floating Toolbar lives at the bottom of your screen in Final Draft Writer:
To move the Floating Toolbar, you can click and highlight anywhere in the document. The Toolbar will then "float" up to the section you are currently editing for easier access:
If you would prefer to remove the Floating Toolbar entirely, you can change your Preferences. In the upper righthand corner of your screen, click your Profile. From the resulting dropdown menu, choose "Settings."
A new window will open. On the lefthand side, choose "Preferences." Then, go to where it says "Show Format Palette." Click NO. Then close out of the window to return to your script.
Click anywhere in your document and you will see the Floating Toolbar disappear.
