This error means you've used up the allocated activations for your Final Draft Customer Number. Each Customer Number allows two activations.
If you have access to an activated computer, you can open Final Draft on that computer and go to Help > Deactivate to deactivate it.
If for some reason you aren't able to deactivate Final Draft 12 / 11/ 10 (hard drive crash, reformat, etc.), please visit the activation reset page: https://www.finaldraft.com/self-service-activation/.
NOTE: Activation service for Final Draft 9 and older have been discontinued. Final Draft 10's activations will be discontinued on June 30th, 2025. These versions of Final Draft are no longer activatable (or re-activatable) to run in full mode on any computer. The program will continue to work but only on a computer that is already activated and only if nothing is done to the computer that will deactivate it (such as an OS upgrade or a replacement hard drive).
Technical support for Final Draft 10 and older is no longer available.
