When I try to activate Final Draft on my Windows computer, I get this: "Activation server failed with the following error message: Error:[0, 0, 0]***Error code was: 0"

Close Final Draft, if it's open;

WINDOWS 11 / 10 / 8

1. Go to File Explorer > View menu and check the Hidden Items box;
2. Go to Local Disk C > Program Data > Flexnet;
3. Delete all "fnldrft..." files;
4. Open Final Draft and try activating again.

If this doesn't work:

1. Click the Start button and type the words "Final Draft" (without quotes);
2. Right-click that menu item and choose Uninstall;
3. Complete the removal of Final Draft;
4. Download the appropriate Final Draft installer from HERE;
5. Reinstall Final Draft.

WINDOWS 7 / VISTA

1. Go to File Explorer > Organize > View tab > Show hidden files/folders/drives;
2. Go to Local Disk C > Program Data > Flexnet;
3. Delete all "fnldrft..." files;
4. Open Final Draft and try activating again.

If this doesn't work:

1. Click the Start button and choose Control Panel;
2. Choose Programs > Uninstall a Program;
3. Locate Final Draft from the list of uninstallable programs and double-click it;
4. Complete the removal of Final Draft;
5. Download the appropriate Final Draft installer from HERE;
6. Reinstall Final Draft.
