If you have a computer with an activated copy of Final Draft that is no longer operational or you've given it away or sold it, we at Final Draft do not have any ability to locate it, reach into it and deactivate it.
Deactivation must be done by the user. To deactivate, simply open Final Draft, go to Help > Deactivate and follow the prompts. Your computer must be online to complete the deactivation.
If you've lost an activation because you can no longer access a particular computer, visit the activation reset page (https://www.finaldraft.com/self-service-activation/ -- FD12 and FD11 only), contact tech support, or call our after-hours activation line (818-789-6281, 5:30PM-8:30AM PST M-F and all day Sat and Sun, carrier rates may apply) and let us know what happened.
