How do I stop the cursor from blinking on my Final Draft document?

Stopping the cursor from blinking requires changing a setting in your computer's operating system. Below are the steps for Mac and Windows.

Mac

1. Click the Apple menu () in the top-left corner of your screen.
2. Select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
3. In the System Settings window, click on Accessibility in the sidebar.

4. Scroll down and select Display from the Accessibility options. 

   

5. Find the setting named "Prefer non-blinking cursor". Turn on the Toggle Switch next to this option.

   

Windows

1. Click the Start button or press the Windows key at the bottom of your screen.
2. Type “blink rate” in the search bar.
3. The search result should show “Change cursor blink rate”. Select it.
4. Drag the “Cursor blink rate” slider all the way to the left (to None).
5. Click Apply.
6. Click OK to apply the changes
