- With your file open, go to Format > Elements Settings (Windows) or Format Elements (Mac);
- Click Apply a Template;
- On Mac you will get a list of various formats. Select the format you want;
- On Windows on FD13, you'll get a list of various formats and categories. On FD12 and earlier, you'll need to click the plus sign next the category you want to browse and the list will be displayed.
- OK your way back to the script and it will now be formatted in the template you chose.
To apply to an open script the formatting of another script you have saved:
Mac:
- Click Apply a Template;
- Click and hold on the down-pointing arrow at the very bottom of the list;
- Click Other.
Windows:
Click Apply a Template > Browse;
Then, on both platforms, navigate the window to where the script is saved, choose it and click OK. OK your way back to the script and the template you chose will be applied.
