This issue is only on the iPad. The Mobile app on the iPhone does not have this issue.
When a multi-location scene heading is entered the very first time, such as "INT. HOUSE - ROOM - DAY" and the user hits Return, it works correctly. However, when the next similar multi- location scene heading is entered (such as "INT. HOUSE - KITCHEN - NIGHT") it turns into "INT. HOUSE - ROOM - DAY after the user hits Return.
This is a defect in the SmartType function. If two multi-location scene headings have the same first location, in this case, "HOUSE," SmartType thinks it has found a match even if the rest of the scene heading is different. As a result, the last known multi-location scene heading is displayed.
Using the default onscreen keyboard: After typing the multi-location scene heading, do not hit Return while the SmartType window is displayed; touch the screen to dismiss the SmartType window and hit Return. Next, rebuild the SmartType list: In the Final Draft Mobile App for iPad, how do I rebuild my SmartType list?
