Final Draft 13 and 12 offers a Track Changes feature similar to those found in standard word processors.
When Track Changes is turned on, any subsequent typing will be in that writer's chosen color and when the cursor is held over the new text, this popup appears:
When text is deleted by a writer, that text will be colored and struck through and when the cursor is held over the edit, this popup appears:
Anyone editing the script can accept or reject individual edits or all edits. When an edit is accepted, the text turns black. When an edit is rejected, the text is removed from the script.
The Track Changes feature is also available in an online collaboration session (all participants must be using FD13 or FD12).
