Outline elements like Summary Index Cards and Beats from the Beat Board can be sent to your script by selecting the element and choosing Insert > Send to Script:
Sending Summary Index Cards to Your Script
When a Summary Index Card is selected or a range of cards is selected, this command copies the summary text into the body of the script as Action at the location of the scene on the page. Note that text entered into the Scene Heading field of a Summary card is automatically placed on the script page as a Scene Heading when the mouse or touchpad is clicked outside of the card's Scene Heading field.
Sending Beats to Your Script
When a Beat from the Beat Board is selected, this command copies the Beat Title onto the script page as an Outline 1 and the Beat body as a Summary paragraph. If more than one Beat is selected, the paste onto the script page will be in the order in which the the Beats were selected.
Sending Your Outline to Your Script
You can also send all of your work from the Outline Editor to your script by clicking on the Send to Script button (located on the Outline Editor's left panel):
The content of the Outline beats will appear in your script as outline elements. The titles of Outline 1 and Outline 2 beats will appear as Outline 1 and Outline 2 elements respectively. The beats’ bodies will appear as Outline Body elements. Outline 2 beats will be placed under their Outline 1 parents.
