What is a Customer Number?

The Final Draft Customer Number is the unique identifier of the software license you purchased. It’s linked in our database to your name and email address. Certain numbers and letters in it indicate what type of license you have.

Some examples* are

• KFDS-123A-456B-789C-101D -- K = Final Draft 12, S = Single User License 
• EFDU-123A-456B-789C-101D – E = Final Draft 11, U = Upgrade
• XFDE-123A-456B-789C-101D – X = Final Draft 10, E = Educational

If Final Draft is installed and activated, you can locate your Customer Number on a Mac by going to the Final Draft menu at the upper left and choosing About Final Draft. On Windows computer, go to the Help menu at the upper right and choose About Final Draft.
