How to re-up your site license installation of Final Draft -- Mac

1.  Open a Finder window and from the menu at the top, open the Go menu;

2.  Choose Computer > Macintosh HD;

3.  Navigate to Library > Preferences > FLEXnet Publisher > Flexnet;

4.  Drag these files to the Trash:

• fnldrft_009b4d00_event.log
• fnldrft_009b4d00_tsf.data
• fnldrft_009b4d00_tsf.data_backup.001

5.  Go to your Applications folder and open the Utilities folder;

6.  Double-click Terminal to open a new terminal window:

IMPORTANT:   All new entries you enter into the Terminal are case-sensitive.

7.  Type or paste in this string and then press the Return key:

• defaults delete com.finaldraft.finaldraft.v12 (or v11)

8.  Type or paste in this string and then press the Return key:

• defaults write com.finaldraft.finaldraft.v12 (or 11) IT-Install KFDx-1234-ABCD-5678-DEFG (IMPORTANT: replace this sample number with your new Customer Number)

9.  Type or paste in this string and then press the Return key:

• defaults write com.finaldraft.finaldraft.v12 (or 11) IT-Install-NoPrompt -bool yes

10.  Type or paste in this string and then press the Return key:

• defaults write com.finaldraft.finaldraft.v12 (or 11) SUEnableAutomaticChecks -bool no

11.  Quit Terminal.

When Final Draft is launched, the program will be activated with the new Customer Number and will be good for the next lease period.
