  If this menu doesn't appear, it's probable that the script you're trying to open is not an FDX (Final Draft 10 / 9 / 8) file. Double-check to see if you're trying to open an FDR (Final Draft 7 / 6 / 5), PDF, TXT, RTF, DOC or other file type. The Final Draft Writer can only open FDX files....
