I want to use a language that's not on your list of supported languages.

Answer

Even if a language is not on our list, you may still be able to use it.

You will first need to install onto your computer the correct font for your language. Once the font is installed, follow these steps:

Mac

  1. Go to Format > Elements;
  2. Click on the Font tab;
  3. Click Set Font;
  4. In the Font box at the upper left, select the font you want and click OK;
  5. Click Apply Font/Size to All Elements;
  6. Click OK to get back to your script. The body of your script will now be in the font you chose.

To change the font in the Header (for the page numbers and any other header text) and the Mores and Continueds:

  1. With the script still open, go to Document > Header and Footer;
  2. Triple-click in this window to select everything underneath the ruler bar;
  3. From the top menu bar go to Format > Font;
  4. Select the font;
  5. Click OK to return to the script;
  6. Go to Document > Mores and Continueds and click on the Set Font button at the bottom of the window;
  7. Go to Format > Font and select the font;
  8. Click OK to return to the script.

To change the font in of any text whose font was changed previously:

  1. Go to Edit > Select All;
  2. Go to Format > Font and choose the correct font;
  3. OK your way back to the script.

Your script will now be in the selected font.

Windows

  1. Go to Format > Elements Settings;
  2. Click on the Font tab;
  3. Click Set Font;
  4. In the Font box at the upper left, select the font you want and click OK;
  5. Click Apply Font/Size to All Elements;
  6. Click OK to get back to your script. The body of your script will now be in the font you chose.
  7. With the script still open, go to Document > Header and Footer;
  8. Press Control+A on the keyboard to select everything underneath the ruler bar;
  9. From the top menu bar go to Format > Font;
  10. In the Font box at the upper left, select the font you want and click OK;
  11. In the Header and Footer box, click OK to get back to your script;

To change the font in the Header (for the page numbers and any other header text) and the Mores and Continueds:

  1. With the script still open, go to Document > Header and Footer;
