Question
In the Mobile app, new scene headings automatically revert to older scene headings.

Answer

This issue is only on the iPad. The Mobile app on the iPhone does not have this issue.

When a multi-location scene heading is entered the very first time, such as "INT. HOUSE - ROOM - DAY" and the user hits Return, it works correctly. However, when the next similar multi- location scene heading is entered (such as "INT. HOUSE - KITCHEN - NIGHT") it turns into "INT. HOUSE - ROOM - DAY after the user hits Return.

This is a defect in the SmartType function.  If two multi-location scene headings have the same first location, in this case, "HOUSE," SmartType thinks it has found a match even if the rest of the scene heading is different.  As a result, the last known multi-location scene heading is displayed.

Using the default onscreen keyboard: After typing the multi-location scene heading, do not hit Return while the SmartType window is displayed; touch the screen to dismiss the SmartType window and hit Return.  Next, rebuild the SmartType list:  http://kb.finaldraft.com/article/1001/21798/
