For information for Final Draft 10 / 9 / 8, click HERE.
In Final Draft 7.1x, there's a check-box under Tools > Options > Document tab (Windows)...
and Final Draft 7 menu/Preferences (Mac)...
that sets the PDF export to include or exclude the title page. This box is checked by default.
Earlier versions of Final Draft 7 don't allow you to save a script without a title page; users are strongly encouraged to download and install the free 7.1.3 update, available HERE.
NOTE that 7.1x is not supported on Mac OS 9. Users of this operating system must use 188.8.131.52.4.
In FD6, simply clear the text from the title page:
- Go to Document > Title page.
- Go to Edit > Select All to highlight all the text.
- Press Delete on your keyboard.
- Go to File > Close to return to the script. When the script is saved as a PDF there will be no title page.
NOTE: Live support for Final Draft 7 has been discontinued. You will still be able to install, activate and use FD7 on appropriate computers but email, chat and telephone support is no longer available. Live activation assistance is still available via phone (818-789-6281) and email and chat (links on the left side of this page).
