Uninstalling Final Draft 7 from a Macintosh computer

Answer

Uninstalling Final Draft 7 from a Macintosh OS X Computer:

  1. Go to Macintosh HD > Applications and and open the Final Draft 7 folder. If there are any scripts (or other items) you need saved here, move them out of this folder.
  2. Drag the Final Draft 7 folder and the Tagger icon to the Trash.
  3. Delete the Final Draft preferences: Go to Macintosh HD > Users > username > Library > Preferences and drag the file named com.finaldraft.fd7.plist to the Trash.
  4. Delete Courier Final Draft: Go to Macintosh HD > Library > Fonts and drag Courier Final Draft to the Trash.
  5. Empty the Trash: Finder > Empty Trash.

NOTE: Live support for Final Draft 7 has been discontinued. You will still be able to install, activate and use FD7 on appropriate computers but email, chat and telephone support is no longer available.
