Even after I enter my FD7 or AV2.5 Customer Number into the Setup Assistant, the Continue button is grayed out.

Even after I enter my FD7 or AV2.5 Customer Number into the Setup Assistant, the Continue button is grayed out.

Answer

The Continue button will only become enabled when you enter a valid FD7 or AV2.5 Customer Number. If you copy and paste the number in from somewhere else, you may be inadvertently bringing extra spaces or dashes that make the program read the number incorrectly. The best thing to do is to type the number in.

Also, using a Customer Number from an older version of the software (i.e. Final Draft 5 or 6 or AV2.0) will prevent the Continue button from becoming clickable.

NOTE: Live support for Final Draft 7 and AV has been discontinued. You will still be able to install, activate and use FD7 and AV on appropriate computers but email, chat and telephone support is no longer available.
