Even after I enter my 8FD Customer Number into the Setup Assistant, the Continue button is grayed out.

Even after I enter my 8FD Customer Number into the Setup Assistant, the Continue button is grayed out.

Answer

The Continue button will only become enabled when you enter a valid 8FD Customer Number. If you copy and paste the number in from somewhere else, you may be inadvertently bringing extra spaces or dashes that make the program read the number incorrectly.

Type the number in directly with the dashes between each group of three letters/numbers and the Continue button should become enabled.

Also, using a Customer Number from an older version of the software (i.e. Final Draft 7 / 6 or AV2.0) will prevent the Continue button from becoming clickable.
