Question
Can Final Draft export to Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting?

Answer

Yes. FD10 / 9 / 8: Simply save the FDX file and it can be imported into Movie Magic Scheduling and Budgeting. Make sure that the scenes in your script each start with a Scene Heading Element and that you have added scene numbers to your script first.

To add Scene Numbers: Go to Production > Scene Numbers > Check Number/Renumber, select Scene Heading for the Element, then click Ok. Make sure you save the file after doing this.

FD7 / 6: Go to File > Save As and choose the Movie Magic format
