The sales line (800-231-4055 or +1-818-995-8995) is for English-only calls about:

  • purchasing software or other products;
  • upgrading;
  • where to buy;
  • program registration and ownership;
  • order status;
  • a lost customer number;
  • company policies;
  • our involvement with school programs, film festivals, contests, sponsorships and trade shows;
  • all other non-technical questions and issues not related to the installation, operation or maintenance of Final Draft software.

This line is available 8:30AM to 5:30PM Mon. - Fri. (PT).

The support line (818-906-8930) is for English-only calls about:

  • installing or uninstalling Final Draft software or updates;
  • opening or using Final Draft software;
  • any of Final Draft software's functions or commands;
  • file management, backup and distribution (i.e. locating backup files, saving a script to a network drive, emailing a script,etc.);

This line is available 8:30AM to 5:30PM Mon. - Fri. (PT).

Support is available only for registered Final Draft 9 / 8 and FD Mobile customers.

We also offer an extensive interactive troubleshooter, chat support and email support.

Please note that our customer support covers issues with the software; script style questions (i.e. how to write a subtitled dream sequence for a particular studio, how to write a love scene for a particular soap opera) are beyond the scope of our service.

The activation line (818-789-6281) is for calls about activating and deactivating Final Draft 10 / 9 / 8. No technical support is available at this phone number.

NOTE: All support for Final Draft 7 and earlier, including software activation and deactivation, has been discontinued. You may find solutions to problems in the online knowledge base or in the PDF manual found on the installation CD.
