Question
How do I get rid of the "continued" at the top of a page?

Answer

If the top of the page begins with a Scene Heading or an Act Break element designated to break a page, no "Continueds" will show at the bottom of the previous page or at the top of the next page.

If Continueds appear, it's because there's a paragraph other than Scene Heading or Act Break at the top of the page. Try to highlight (double-clicking is the easiest way) any space above the Act Break or Scene Heading and if the blank space is now selected, hit Delete on your keyboard.
