Question
How do I delete the CONTINUED from places where it shouldn't be?

Answer

If the top of the page begins with a Scene Heading or an Act Break element designated to break a page, no Continueds will show at the bottom of the previous page or at the top of the next page.

If it does, there is an paragraph other than a Scene Heading or an Act Break at the top of the page. You can have the wrong paragraph lurking there with no text in it if at some point you deleted the text that was there but not the hard return. Try and highlight any space above the Act Break or Scene Heading; if you can highlight anything, delete it.

If this doesn't work, make sure the first paragraph on the page is, in fact, designated as a Scene Heading or Act Break paragraph.
