How can I clear or remove the title page from a Final Draft script?

Answer

To remove the title page from the PDF export:

Final Draft 10 / 9: Go to File > Save As PDF and uncheck the Include Title Page box.

Final Draft 8: Go to File > Save As PDF and uncheck the Include Title Page box. If you don't have the Save As PDF command in the File menu, download and run the free update. Be sure to use the version intended for your operating system.

Windows: 8.0.3

Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) / 10.9 (Mavericks) / 10.8 (Mountain Lion) / 10.7 (Lion) / 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard): 8.0.3.1

Mac OS X 10.4.11 - 10.6: 8.0.1

Final Draft 7:

Windows: Go to Tools > Options > Document tab and uncheck the Include Title Page box.

Mac: Go to the Final Draft menu > Preferences and uncheck the Saving as PDF Includes the Title Page box.

  1. Go to Document > Title Page;
  2. Select all the text with Apple+A on Mac and Control+A on Windows;
  3. Press the Delete key to clear the page;
  4. Go to File > Close to return to your script. When the script is saved as a PDF there will be no title page.
