How do I thoroughly uninstall Final Draft 8 from a Macintosh 10.6 / 5 / 4 computer?

Answer
  1. If possible, deactivate Final Draft. In the program, go to Help > Deactivate > Online Deactivation.
  2. Quit the program.
  3. Go to Macintosh HD > Applications and open the Final Draft 8 folder. If there are any scripts (or other items) you need saved here, move them out of this folder.
  4. Drag the Final Draft 8 folder and the Tagger icon to the Trash.
  5. Delete the Final Draft preferences: Go to Macintosh HD > Users > username > Library > Preferences and drag the file named com.finaldraft.finaldraft.v8.plist to the Trash.
  6. Delete the Courier Final Draft font: Go to Macintosh HD > Library > Fonts and drag Courier Final Draft to the Trash.
  7. Delete the Customer Info file: Go to Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Final Draft folder. Drag the Final Draft 8 folder to the trash.
  8. Delete the spellchecker: Go to Macintosh HD > Users > username > Library > Application Support > Final Draft folder. Drag the Final Draft 8 folder to the trash.
  9. Empty the Trash: Finder > Empty Trash.
  10. Download and install Final Draft 8 again. The installer is here: http://kb.finaldraft.com/article/1001/79925/final-draft-8.
